Note that this does NOT have chondroiten as many other joint supplements do. This helps keeps the cost down, though it might reduce the effectiveness somewhat as well. That said, the benefit per dollar ratio of this product is high, and that was my motivation for choosing it over other alternatives. I had arthroscopic shoulder surgery last week to repair a frayed labrum, bone spur, and severe bursitis. There was a lot of slicing, grinding and polishing done in the joint. The shoulder was extremely stiff following surgery and I have been taking 6 of these tablets per day (recommended dosage is 2 per day) along with high doses of fish oil and nutrient dense foods to help aid in the natural recovery and repair of the joint tissue.
