Review: good work, sports watch - Good durable watch. They are tough, waterproof watches. Takes a lickn and keeps tickn. LOL
Review: Excellent, durable, traditional "timeless" piece...with one exception - I used to have a Timex Ironman some years ago, and I literally wore it out and nothing ever malfunctioned. The screen was too scratched, the case was too dinged, and I had installed a stainless strap long before that condition was reached. It was just time to bin it for a new watch. Bought a lovely mechanical Seiko with a custom Strap Code band. Couple years later I really miss the features and convenience of the Timex Ironman. I did some research on the newer updated models and went ahead and bought another. I can say, everything I really appreciated about the old Ironman is retained in the new one, plus some fresh appearance and functional bits (negative style Indiglo light, with positive style lcd). Love most everything about it, that I can trust it, that it's quartz accuracy, that the battery life is acceptably long, that I have convenient timing count-up and down features with a couple intuitive presses of buttons. Love it. It's not too big and not too small for my small-ish wrists. I'm not into the fading trend behemoth-sized watch faces today. The exception is the strap. Everything about the rubber strap works very well and I can see it lasting a very long time. However, it has a tendency to rotate (cant sideways) on my somewhat smaller wrists. This is typically due (based on my metal strap experiences) to the fact the non-buckle side strap is too long in relation to the receiving buckle-side strap. This puts the buckle too far beneath the wrist and without running too tight, it causes the watch to cant to the outside of my wrists especially since I'm a desk job worker and lay my arm on the surface, compressing the tail portion of the strap. If the strap was designed to move the buckle closer to the thumb-side of the wrist, it would be near perfect. Straps are galore aftermarket. Not a problem that cannot be solved. Just an observation. Very satisfied with the Ironman. All the convenience features I desire, none of the complicated nonsense I don't. Please don't mess up the formula, Timex, but design rubber straps with a shorter length on the non-buckle side. Most wrists could benefit from that, I feel.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great watches
*by K***N on June 25, 2026*

I’ve bought these multiple times. I usually only retire one when I’ve repeatedly exposed it to harsh chemicals to the point of damaging the watch case (not the watche’s fault). I still have old ones that I’ve replaced and the actual mechanism still works fine.
