Most of it depends on the age of children that are on it and their comfort level on the river. Adults have no balance on it. **Q: does it come with a seat pad and back? is it necessary. doesn't look very comfortable for long trips. if no, which brand would fit the best?** A: A seat back would render the swim up deck on the back of this kayak useless. My kiddos have zero problems with no seat back. They prefer it over the kayaks that do have them. A simple boat seat cushion from Walmart can be placed to pad the seat and will also float if the child (by some off chance) flips the boat. Mine has only done it once and it took some serious goofing off in some rapids to accomplish the boat flip **Q: Does this come with the paddle?** A: I ordered the pink one and it did, it is a two piece paddle that comes apart in the middle with a "push button" to store. **Q: Where can I order a replacement plug?** A: A cheap and effective way to plug the holes is to pick up some foam golf balls and put them in there. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for kids *by J***S on September 27, 2021* I bought this for my 6 year-old for his birthday. I figured there would be a huge learning curve and he might fall out and/or have difficulty turning it. Not so. He got in and paddled off like a pro. He’s never fallen out. It’s so easy for him to maneuver. His 8 year-old sibling had the same experience in it.The weight limit is 125 lbs so it should last him for quite a while. His dad and I put that to the test and were both flipped out of the kayak. It is definitely not suitable for adults.Great buy.
