I would be a little worried if plaster was not painted and was removed it would bring some of the paper off. Think it may be a little strong even if board was painted. I would use something like a command tape, that can be removed. Dependent if you where using it to hang something heavy **Q: It says 3M is it really manufactured by 3M as the packaging doesn’t look like 3M standard** A: I do not believe this is 3M. I believe what you are referring to is the 3 mitres in length.
