I've never understood the difference in Makita batteries from the first item I ever purchased. OK, I may be on my own out here. My comment today reflects on the fact that I have one 4.0ah battery and it's labelled as a BL1840B. Not a mention of LXT but it fits and operates this DMP 180Z Inflator perfectly! **Q: maximum capacity?** A: 8.3 Bars According to the specs **Q: Any idea how long the hose is?** A: About 18 inches. Long enough so that you can stand upright holding the compressor whilst inflating your tyres. Cracking little compressor ## Frequently Bought Together - Makita DMP180Z 18V Li-ion LXT Inflator - Batteries and Charger Not Included, Blue/Silver, M - Trigger Lock Button Compatible with Makita DMP180Z, Lenink Power Button On/Off Control Clamp Lock Compatible with Makita Cordless Inflator Air Compressor --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/197480064-dmp180z-18v-li-ion-lxt-inflator-batteries-and-charger-not](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/197480064-dmp180z-18v-li-ion-lxt-inflator-batteries-and-charger-not) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
