If I need more than two layers I simply double up and they are still comfortable and breathable. It seams not to protect you from anything coming in your air ways and also I do not think it would restrain anything going out (maybe a very low protection).No option to place a filter...maybe if that was available it could be better - opportunity for improvement.The elastic bands don’t have a adjuster, you have to tie it. Also the material used seams that will lose its elasticity quickly.Conclusion: i think it works for a quick use and for places with not so many people.
