I think the other reviewers did not understand the purpose of this item. It is actually a replacement piece for a Blackberry charging pod. Here is how I used it: I formally had a Blackberry Classic, and I had a charging pod for it. Then I purchased the new Blackberry Priv, which did not fit into the old charging pod. Fortunately, Blackberry makes this simple additional plastic piece, which you can use to replace the same piece in the old charging pod. It works, and it's really cheap. I didn't have to purchase a whole new pod. It even works when my Priv is still in its case! So, if you already own one of the Blackberry charging pods, and if you buy a new Priv, then this piece is the exact right thing for you to buy, rather than having to shell out the money for a new pod. It's great that Blackberry sells these things! Review: DOES NOT ACTUALLY HAVE A USB PORT!!! - I foolishly thought this was a sync pod WITH A BUILT-IN A USB PORT THAT MY PHONE WOULD PLUG INTO WHEN SEATED. Instead, I got two pieces of plastic that snap together that the Priv can sit in and stand upright. To be fair, the bottom piece is open so I could hold it up and stick a USB cable through the bottom of it into my phone, and sync that way.
