## Questions & Answers

**Q: does it drain the car battery**
A: most cars have the 9v outlet tied into the ignition, so it's not powered when the car is not running. Therefore, it won't drain your battery at all.

**Q: How much length is there between the two connections? My aux port and cig lighter are not right next to each other.**
A: The length between the two connections is short, but the package will come with an extension cable for the Audio connector. That should solve the distance problem. You can check its manual on this link: http://cache-www.belkin.com/support/dl/MAN_F4U037tt_8820tt00529_RevA02_CarAudioConnect%20AUX.pdf

**Q: Do you still have to reconnect phone every time you enter the car ? I have a Nexus 4 and I don't want to BT reconnect each time I enter the car...**
A: Yes, every time when on the ignition on your car, you have switch the device on.

**Q: Does it work with Blackberry ? The packing does not say so.**
A: I can't say for sure. As long as your phone has bluetooth, this turd should work.

    Excellent Bluetooth Music Receiver

*by H***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2013*

I would have to agree with the others reviewing this product that I was a bit wary in buying this product as it has "Belkin" written on it, but after a few weeks of use I will say that I'm thrilled with the Bluetooth receiver and it's (almost) the perfect match for my Honda Fit.Pros:Depending on your vehicle you may need a ground loop isolator, however I found that in my car I did not. When plugging my Samsung Galaxy S III directly into the Honda's auxiliary input along with plugging in the phone's charger I noticed an extreme amount of electrical noise when the car was running. However, the Belkin Bluetooth unit doesn't produce any electrical noise whatsoever, even though there is no ground loop isolator installed. Try it first without the isolator, then purchase one later if you need to.The sound quality has also improved dramatically compared to my phone's headphone jack output. Although this may be a case of "the nut behind the steering wheel" from not configuring my phone correctly, I can assure you that I have not noticed any form of sound degradation compared to directly playing a CD in the car. I'm thrilled about this and would say this is 95% of the reason why you are seeing the 5 star review above. The design of the button/microphone/notification light is also well thought-out. The ring around the button glows a pleasant blue while connected to the phone and is dim enough to not be distracting at night (also matches the blue of the dashboard found in most modern Honda automobiles). The button itself is magnetically attached to a separate piece which sticks to your car with the supplied adhesive foam ring. At first I was confused as to why Belkin chose to do this, but after clumsily knocking the button off two or three times, I found that it is an excellent idea that has certainly saved me from a snapped cord or freshly-torn adhesive backing.Cons (Somewhat)Audio quality in calls is acceptable, but I have had one or two people complain that I was a bit quiet. Microphone/button placement is key, and if your car's dashboard does not have an acceptable flat spot to mount on around the driver's side you may hear a few complaints. The bluetooth system does require you to press the button in order to link your phone upon starting your car. I admit that I'm stretching to call this a "con" as if the button is directly in front of you (which it should be if you want acceptable phone call quality) the minuscule amount of effort necessary to press a button when starting your car is hardly worth mentioning compared to recharging the devices with competitor's products. Finally, I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the Samsung Galaxy S III or if its an issue with compatibility with the BT receiver, but I found that utilizing voice commands on my phone is impossible while the system is linked. Take this with a grain of salt, as your phone may work fine.Overall, the only thing I'm upset about is that I did not buy this when it first came out. It's excellent and well worth the money.

    Exactly what I needed!

*by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2012*

Over the years, I've had a variety of bluetooth audio devices. I specifically remember having one of the earliest phones with bluetooth back in the late 90's to test some bluetooth connectivity and since have had numerous headsets, and hands-free solutions.Prior to this device, I connected my phone directly to the auxiliary port in my car to have audio through the factory sound system. As a positive, it was a simple solution and I was able to take calls handsfree. As a negative, callers on the other end heard echos of themselves as the speakers fed back into the phone microphone and it wasn't a true phone solution. I used to have a bluetooth accessory that clipped to my sun visor. It worked well, but in the end, I had to constantly remember to charge it, and stopped using it because I would forget to charge and it would be dead by the time I needed it.Enter Belkin's Bluetooth car hands-free kit. Doing my research I looked again at visor-mounted solutions, this belkin offering, an offering from Griffen, and another from Monster. I decided to give this one a try because a) it hooked directly into the aux port and mine is in my armrest next to a power port b) it took power directly from the vehicle c) it had a mountable "button" that served as a microphone that provided DSP that would eliminate the echo that my interim solution had offered and d) I didn't have to wear a headsetTo be honest I didn't try the other plugin socket solutions. While they looked like they would offer similar functionality they did not have the separate speaker apparatus that could be mounted on the dash so I preferred this unit. When the unit arrived, I immediately went to the car to connect it. I was able to hide the wires from the center console to the dash and mounted the speaker puck right above the shifter. I connected my phone (iPhone 4) and did not need to enter a connection password to connect it. As soon as it connected, the ring lit up blue (from orange) and I tested by streaming music from my phone. It sounded great! I'm not a super audiophile, but it sounded just as good as plugging my phone directly into the aux port. I tested with a call to my gf and again the Belkin kit performed admirably. While it wasn't the clearest call quality, it served it's purpose well, and I no longer have to worry about my handsfree solution running out of batteries.Would I recommend this product? yes, it adds a bluetooth solution to my car that is as close to a factory installation that I could hope for. Connecting to the device is as simple as pressing a button when I start my car and the sound quality is great. A must have if you're done wearing headsets and charging bluetooth devices.

Molte volte l'audio è disturbato, difficile trovare una posizione dove funzioni bene bisogna perderci un po di tempo, poco sotto la media
