They stand on opposite sides and punch it and try to make it hit the other kid in the face. They can be kinda' brutal with each other. This punching bag has taken some of the blows and in doing so has replaced a few tears with laughter. It was a good investment for family peace. The only thing I wish was different was the lower part where you add water or sand to make it stay upright. The hole needs to be bigger. Unfortunately, we are moving and I can't figure out how to get all of the water out. Any ideas?** A: I just unscrewed it and held it upside down. With the last remaining water, I just squeezed it and it all came out. **Q: How big?** A: About 4 ft tall and the size of a 6 year old, as I recall. After you take the screwed cap off, there is another safety cap, or plug. That one is clear/white-ish. You just pull that one out. There should be a couple of recesses so that you can grab it with your fingers and pull. Then, you should see the bottom of the bag, which is red. I carefully followed the instructions, filled the bottom with sand, and inflated the top compartment with air. Within a few hours, it started to deflate. We searched for leaks, refilled it, and even used a soapy water solution to find where the air was escaping so we could use the included patch kit. Unfortunately, there were multiple leaks all around the red round top part where it’s seamed to the body. The leaks were right on the seams and far too many to patch.
