Two things- You’ll need to be comfortable with cutting a rectangular hole in the upholstery of the ceiling of the car (yep), and be able to run a 12 volt line from the battery to the unit. Unless you have experience with this sort of stuff, get it done at a shop. **Q: Will it play blu ray?** A: There is no dvd slot. **Q: Can I connect my indash cd/dvd and play a movie and it will play on the overhead tv also?** A: I have a pioneer head unit and when I play a dvd on it, it automatically plays on the overhead monitor. May be the way the stereo shop wired it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente producto *by on Reviewed in the United States October 29, 2025* Funciona muy bien ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ better in quality *by on Reviewed in the United States December 20, 2024* I think it could be better in quality ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome for the price! *by on Reviewed in the United States March 18, 2023* Came as advertised - if unfamiliar with car stere/ AV probably have a professional install for you. FM transmitter works great and I have a Roku hooked up to it with hotspot from the phone for Disney + for the kiddos in 06 Jeep. Works great and picture is awesome for the screen size. If you’ve send negative reviews probably just someone trying to DIY and doesn’t understand wiring concepts. Extremely happy with purchase to replace old Alpine dvd unit that stopped working. ## Frequently Bought Together - 11.6 inch Car Overhead Monitor That Features a 1080P HD Digital TFT Wide Screen Ultra Thin, roof Mounted flip Down Player Equipped with HDMI IR FM and USB - PASOW 3 RCA Cable Audio Video Composite Male to Male DVD Cable (15 Feet) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/197957165-11-6-inch-car-overhead-monitor-that-features-a-1080p](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/197957165-11-6-inch-car-overhead-monitor-that-features-a-1080p) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
