I still go to the store and pay $9 for the already made tea salad once in a while because I'm lazy, I don't have to have to buy the produce (romaine, cabbage, tomatoes), and the store one has ginger shredded in with the tea leaves which adds this exquisite flavor to the whole salad. But having the kit makes it so if I can't or won't go to the store, I can still have this delicious salad. It makes for a real nice change from the typical salads, of which I eat frequently. It's packaged so I don't have to refrigerate it too. I've been giving some of these away to my people to slowly peak their culinary curiosity as to what other Burmese food may be like too.
