Review: Great screw always goes without any excuses not like the ex wife - Although these screws aren’t arriving until Thursday coming I have had these screws before from this seller as well as various other sellers and manufacturers I refer to this type of screws as Timber Drive Screws or Timby D’s. They drive into Timber posts and sleepers with ease and the quality is flawless. I could secure a 4” Timber gate post to a wall with one 150mm screws and a 10mm grey winged wall plug and this post would be solid however I always use 4 just to make sure it goes nowhere. The screws can be fired in using an impact driver and a hex bit functionality is second to none. It’s a beautiful thing.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What depth to connect two 10cm high sleepers? Does it need pilot holes?**
A: No pilot holes needed , they are self drilling, recommend 150mm length, usually comes with hex driver bit

**Q: I'm guessing if we have two 10cm deep sleepers stacked, we need the 15cm screws not the 20cm screws to connect them?**
A: The 15 cm screws will be more than good enough, I used them on 10cm sleepers and worked fine, though I did counter-sink the heads in by about 1 cm.

**Q: What size hex bit is needed for these?**
A: If you are buying Amazon Item ‎FORSPETF150G which is the 6.3 x 150mm Advanced Timber Fixing Screws there is no hex driver bit in the box. Other answers said there was, which in part influenced me to buy. Other than that the screws look just fine and superior to the previous ones I bought from a well known builders merchants.

**Q: Do they countersink**
A: I'm only a DIYer, but I'd say no. I had to drill into the wood slightly to get them flush.
