She's more hair than person...LOL. We alternate between wide tooth combs on wet hair and paddle brushes on dry hair. Always a difficult task and tears inevitably come in to play. This was an improvement in that we were able to get through the task on the verge of tears but no crying and the fact that we were able to use it like a rake working our way up into the knotted areas as if we were using fingers to break up the knots helped alot.She spends a lot of time blocking the nape of her neck as clearly it's the most sensitive area to have hair being tugged on and a constant battle reminding her that I can't comb through her hands but she allowed me to fully get this area detangled. It was definitely a step up from using a comb or paddle brush.
