## Description

Steve Madden, the company, was founded by Steve Madden, the man, in 1990 in Brooklyn, where he started out making trend-advancing shoes one pair at a time. It was not long after that the Steve Madden focus on "now-ness" earned rave reviews from young female fans mad for the funky, chic, and yet competitively priced footwear it produced. The company popularized the "dressy sneaker," and continues to man the forefront of trends.

Review: stylish and comfortable - These were purchased for our vacation. My husband wore them nearly non stop, and never had a complaint. The footbed is comfortable and the leather straps are pliable and comfortable on the foot. He did mention that due to the flat nature of the footbed, there isn't a lot of arch support, but that is not something he looks for in a shoe.
Review: The quality is better than expected though a little on the large side - I purchased these mostly for their looks. The quality is better than expected though a little on the large side. T hey do look good and are wearing well .

### ⭐⭐ Poorly made
*by B***S on May 18, 2015*

Straps are uneven in length. Some are fine, some are extremely floppy and look ridiculous. Technically they could be worn, but preferably not in public.
