SO affordable, dishwasher safe, and BPA free!I've got my tiny kale seeds sprouting now, and I didn't lose a single one while rinsing with these mesh screens. They're perfect! Now I'll have plenty of nutrition-packed superfoods to add to my salads, soups, sandwiches, omelettes, cottage cheese, and burritos.(2 months later) Still loving these screens! I am so glad they came in a pack of 5, because all my friends want to 'borrow' them. I wash them in the silverware compartment of the dishwasher and they are still holding up like brand new. There are some discolorations/stains but that is a natural result from the kale and broccoli seeds, and not a product defect. When using the screen for the first time, it tends to resist water, and you might think you need to remove the jar lid to rinse your seeds, but this is just a temporary issue until the screen has been used once. The alfalfa roots tend to get caught in the mesh, but it does not seem to affect sprout growth. The instructions for sprouting sent by the seller were very helpful and practical.
