I just thought it would be nice if it came with more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious pancake mix--can be made Top 8 Free! *by A***A on January 16, 2017* As someone who is Top 8 free (no wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, fish, shellfish, nuts or tree nuts), I love this pancake mix. I usually make up the entire bag and just freeze what I don't eat. They are really tasty--they almost have a funnel cake taste to them in my opinion...so of course, I love them with a little maple syrup and dusted with powdered sugar. I use Ener-G egg replacer for the eggs and rice milk or coconut milk for my milk replacement and they come out perfect. They also have lots of recipes on their website and I can't wait to try out their all purpose flour--I have been dreaming of a cake or cupcakes that I can eat for a long time and the recipes online look amazing. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This Bona Dea Gluten Free Pancake mix is almost $7.00/pound. *by N***H on October 5, 2015* Frankly, I am tired of being EXTORTED by manufacturers because I have a medical condition that does not allow me to eat anything containing wheat, barley, or rye. The average shopper pays approximately $1.00/pound for name brand ordinary pancake mix made from flour. This Bona Dea Gluten Free Pancake mix is almost $7.00/pound. I decided to give it a try since it was offered to me free for evaluation. It was easy to use [just add milk, egg and oil]. The pancakes were okay [a bit bland and a little more of a "gritty" texture]. I have tried other gluten free mixes with better flavor and texture [Pamela's is the best]; but all of them are outrageously expensive. I will not be buying this mix because I can not support a product that cost SEVEN TIMES more than a comparable "mainstream" product. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT COST ANYWHERE NEAR SEVEN TIMES ORDINARY WHEAT PANCAKE MIX TO PRODUCE. I realize that "gluten free" has become a "fad diet" for a lot of people. But, for me it is an absolute necessity. I think it is deplorable that manufacturers are padding their profits by extorting people with health issues. I simply won't support it.
