Brand Story By Summer Infant Review: Amazing product - We've had this product for about a momth, I was a little worried buying the product because I saw people saying it's hard to put under the bed, it's difficult to adjust, kids were flipping the mattress, etc... well not true for us, super easy to assemble, easy to adjust. I put it on and take it off everyday but it's not difficult at all nor does it "require two people" I've done it on my own with ease multiple times, when my 10yr old helps he can do it on his own as well, so I think it's just a matter of common sense. As for the child flipping it by "leaning on it" or "rolling in their sleep" as some reviews said we tested that and nothing.. so I had my four year old give it a little more of a push (obviously while supervised and being next to her) and she honestly would've had to been jumping on the bed or flipping over the rails to get it to flip so the other reviews saying it flipped that more then likely because the product it was because of horse play. The rails work great, they do what they're supposed to, easy to assemble, install and doesn't flip unless they are being used as a jungle gym and not bed rails. Review: Good quality. (would the railings stay in place?)** A: Yes, it works for our full mattress which is on the floor with no problem. **Q: Does this work for twin bed with slats? Any requirements?** A: It all depends on the sides of the bed not necessarily what's under it. The security straps have a plastic "T" on the end. They cross from the side with the safety gate under the mattress and out the other side where the "T" is positioned between (usually) the mattress and boxspring. That being said, I did use it briefly on a bed with no box spring and slats under it. We positioned the "T" with one side on the mattress and then just made sure that it was positioned over one of the slats so that it didn't fall through. It did work ok, but not recommended as the straps did occasionally slip due to not having a mattress or board etc. on the other side of the "T." It really all depends on the type of bed and what sides they would have to position the "T" on if that makes any sense. **Q: Hi can this work singly as in I only want to mount the rail on one side at times?** A: Not really. It hooks together under the mattress. **Q: Are these rails really 21" high as advertised? I want to make sure they're high enough for a 12" pillow top mattress.** A: Thank you for your question. It is very well built and keeps our toddlers tucked in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Peace of Mind *by B***2 on April 26, 2017* I purchased these because we recently u graded my 3 year old daughter's bed to a full size, and I needed something sturdy and large enough for the bed so I had peace of mind while she slept through the night. I decided to purchase these because the length was perfect and the side rails connect underneath the mattress. When I received these, the box was damaged (I attached pics & hence the 4 stars) so I was concerned that the product was going to be damaged. Once I opened the box, the pieces seemed to be fine, so I began putting them together. These come with easy to understand directions and are easy to assemble. The material that goes around the metal frame of the rails fits tightly. Once you have both rails in place, the one side offers straps that you pull to tighten the rails against the mattress. They can get pretty sturdy & snug, which I was seeking. The length fits her full size bed nicely and offers enough space for her to get in & out of bed. The only other downfall (and another reason I gave 4 stars) is that these have to be purchased online. They're offered through multiple stores but no store actually has them in stock.
