For me it feels at home on my middle finger although I'm sure I could adjust it to sit flush against my finger. I say that because it's snagged against stuff before, usually like fabric or when I'm putting my jacket on. Otherwise it wraps around the finger pretty well. As far as how it feels it's pretty solid and doesn't feel flimsy like it'll snap. The details on the ring are great also, it really looks like octopus tentacles or a kraken. Pretty sure you're able to open it to fit 9-10. I fell in love with this when I saw it on another website. I ordered a look-alike from from that Chinese website, (you know, starts with "W" and rhymes with "fish") and I was disappointed to see that it was a really sad knockoff of this exact ring. It bent as easily as a few layers of aluminum foil and then snapped and broke off when I dropped it. I only mention that other site because this ring is the one in the picture on that other site that you hope to get at a steal, but don't waste your time or money on the other one.
