Takane 318HT with High Torque Hands 8" Kit comes with 318HT movement, mounting hardware, and 8" hands! The 318 HT full size "C" cell powered models were designed specifically for use with today’s new larger clocks. They are the most powerful quartz movements on the market today, and they were designed to solve one of the primary assembly problems that confronts everyone making larger clocks-hour and minute hand spacing! All of the high torque movements on the market today share the same problem-they are just more powerful versions of regular movements designed to accommodate regular size hands. The 318 HT series movements were designed specifically for use with larger hands. The distance between where the hour and minute hands are installed has been increased! This increased distance will help to prevent longer hands from binding and leaves enough room to accommodate the counterweights that are commonly used on large minute hands. Thumb Dimensions: 2 1/4" w x 3 1/8" h x 1" d The most powerful quartz movements available today Increased spacing between hour and minute hands Threaded portion of shaft is 11/16" and overall length is 1-1/8" 7/16" Shaft diameter-American "I" Shaft Operates on 1 "C" cell battery for longer battery life.
