Some of the photos make it look a bit pink in color.** A: No its just the photo, it's not a deep red but it's red and looks red. Just a bad photo. It's a nice color and the fabric is really comfortable. **Q: Does this Duvet have a zipper closure and corner ties to hold the quilt in place? If not what does it have?** A: No, it has snaps for closure; there are no ties. I turn it inside out & using jumbo size safety pins, pin it no place at bottom. Then as I bring it up over duvet I pin the top 2 corners & 1 in middle before I snap it closed. Snaps are small & concealed once closed. **Q: Will this fit a US queen size comforter?** A: Yes it will. I actually think a king is better. I have a king size lightly filled alternative down comforter in mine and it fits perfectly. But I did have a queen in it and it was fine also. It's too big for our queen bed though. We used it anyway and will again next Christmas. It is not soft but initially stiff. This was not a big deal to me because I expected that.
