Ordered a size larger than I normally wear and got a shirt that was at least a complete size smaller than I normally wear. However, the shirt DOES NOT FIT LIKE A T-SHIRT! While it is looser than your normal rash guard, it is still much tighter than a t-shirt. I wear a xxl and ordered xxxl as recommended. The shirt fit like a training fit xl. So, don't do what I did and buy a bigger size than you usually wear because so many reviews say the item runs small. If anything, the shirt runs big and the medium was really large. So,while I like the shirt, but now have to return for a smaller size and since it is not free shipping to return, I had to pay $5.00 to return.
