For the size of the cross in my sanctuary it was not dramatic enough or big enough. I ended up making one and not using the one that I purchased. **Q: can it be worn on the head?** A: Directly on the head, no. However, if you wanted to use it as part of an Easter costume, it could be gently placed over some type of soft barrier to prevent the thorns from penetrating the scalp.
