Review: This thing has been GREAT! - This thing has been GREAT! I have already bought 4 of these (the original, one replacement, and 2 more as gifts for my sons). It works really well shaves close and clean and is sturdy and resilient which is important because I am hard on my tools. The replacement was because after quite a bit of abuse I finally dropped the original right on the round blade surface and it bent to the degree that it was un-usable. Because it is so well priced it was easy to replace and because desertcart is awesome I got the replacement the day after ordering it. We were camping and my son saw me using it and asked if he could use it and after using it once he really liked it. Again because it is so well priced and such a high quality product I bought one for him and for my other son who also loved the product. I have used it dry and wet, with water and with shaving cream, at home, in the car, while camping or out of town; it is easy to pack and has a great battery life and charges quickly. It is just a great shaver overall.

**Q: Are the foil heads now made to last longer ? in the past they have been very cheap and break within a very short period of time**
A: The reason Remington foils don't last as long is because they are thinner than some other brands.  This is by design to provide a closer shave.  I do not work in an office & have another brand I use for my daily shaving & I use my Remington when I am going off somewhere & want to look my best.  The other foil is thicker & lasts longer but does not give as close a shave as my Remington, but good enough for the work I do.  My Remington gives a great shave that leaves my face super smooth.

**Q: No trimmer? want a decent substitute for the braun 5615, which had a pop up trimmer. the braun m60/m90 don't shave well and have poor trimmers.**
A: I agree. I have had shard time finding travel shavers (battery operated) with pop up trimmers. ShaveMan is the only one I found. But it isn't a great shaver.

**Q: does the product work well for coarse hair black men ?**
A: No. While all Remington shavers are made to give a skin close shave, ingrown hairs could still be a problem for some men..

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good update on the old twin-foil. Recommended.

The F4 is a nice design and an improvement on the older design twin foil. I can't get new foils and blades for my old twin foil, so I got this at a good price, cheaper than one foil and blade used to cost. I tried this because it's an updated twin foil, but with a stub cutter between the foils. It works well and I recommend it. The usb charging cable seems silly because who has a usb outlet in their bathroom? Minus one star for that charger. The caps are difficult to remove, unlike the old twin foil. A new F4 is the same cost as foils and blades, so I'll just get another one when the foils wear out. Oh yeah, it takes a few shaves to "break in" the blades and foils. After that, the razor gives a decent shave, not like a razor, but acceptable.
