It greatly shortens drying times of cloths, towels, and swimwear. It also saves effort and time when used to wring water out of towels and chamois while wiping down cars or other washed items. The wringer comes in two models: durable black coated steel and solid stainless steel where further corrosion resistance is needed. Both models feature Nitrel rollers. Hope that hrlps? **Q: Could you wash and wring a sleeping bag through this wringer?** A: Probably not. The effective width of the wringer is only about 11 inches. The bag would have to be folded several times to make it narrow enough to feed into the wringer. Folded like that, the bag would be very thick, and I don't think the wringer could be opened up enough the feed the bag through. This wringer is really only useful for a chamois or drying towel you would use on your car. **Q: My 3 laundry sinks and back splash are one piece. Can clamps turn perpedicular to the rollers?** A: Yes. There is a nut and bolt holding the clamp portion to the body of the wringer. Loosening this will allow you to modify the direction of the clamps. **Q: I am left handed. Does the crank work for a lefty? Thank you.** A: The rollers turn in both directions, so it wouldn't matter which hand you use. The drip tray, which slants to have the water run off into a bucket, or whatever, is adjustable, so it can be tilted to either side. There are a lot of adjustments that can be made on it, including the pressure on the rollers. Once you have it all adjusted, be sure to tighten all the screws good and tight. Great value for money, sturdy, i cant imagine anything budging or breaking this. My wringer is so important for laundry, i run an item through a few times and the clothes feel barely damp, it gets the soapy water out for rinsing, then it gets the water out for it to dry in a few short hours!
