A few dollars instead of $180 for another ice maker...that's what I call a high value for they money.!! They also worked great as a remote tester - just connect a multi-meter set for voltage to one of these, point a remote control at it and watch it charge from the transfer of light from the remote to the LED. Tested with a Whynter portable air conditioner and a Samsung TV.
