I went out on a limb and purchased these anyways. I am so happy that I took the risk and purchased these. They are absolutely perfect. The magnet on these provides just the right amount of magnetism without tearing them out of the fabric they are installed to and there are no risks of them coming out of my project. The magnetic strength on these is perfect and each of the sides of the snaps meets up perfectly. The box came with both sides of the snaps and came with washers to fix each of the sides to the back of them to securely hold them to your project. All of the ones that I received were silver and so far have remained that same color without any tarnishing, fading, or discoloring. I found that these were made a good quality materials but you need to be careful when hammering on them to get them closed. If you hammer too hard they will become misshapen. I am very happy with this purchase and now I have a ton of snaps for every kind of project I can imagine. My local hobby store sells these for $4.99 for a pack of 2 and the quality appears to be the same. No instructions included but it is not hard to figure out. Place the backing piece where you want and mark the slits with a pencil. I have used both a seam ripper and an xacto knife to make the slits, I use the back end of the xacto knife to press the posts down.
