Since my hair was sectioned out it didn’t take long to dry at all. I went to a new hair stylist who butchered my hair. I wanted a trim and to add a little texture, and while facing me away from the mirror, she hacked off 8-10 inches... it was devastating to me. I understand it’s just hair and it grows back, but it took me 15 years to get it as healthy and as long as it was.... now I have to start all over again, so I was looking for something as an alternative to heat that would give me the same style as when I use my wave iron. I want to go away from heat all together. My only complaint was that instead of giving me a hook with a base to connect it to, there was only two bases in the package with no hook. Kind of hard to use it without the hook... First off, they were SUPER easy to put in. I put them in right after I got out of the shower. (Make sure you don’t grab a chunk of hair too big because if you do, the hook will come apart from the pulling pressure). It took me about 30 minutes to put all of them in. I was short 4 so luckily I had bought another pack to do the top of my hair.Once I was done, I went to sleep. Now I will say that it was the worst night sleep ever because I couldn’t lay in a comfortable position where these things were not laying on my head or face weird. Next time, I would probably just dry my hair with a hair dryer.My second picture is from the morning, after I pulled all of the forms out. It made a perfect wave pattern throughout my hair and it stayed until the next time I washed my hair (about 2-1/2 days).Disclaimer: I do have very curly natural hair that holds waves and curls very well.
