I was shoveling snow in them within an hour and they're very comfortable, warm, and dry. Not stiff at all out of the box. They feel lightweight but durable. Time will tell how they hold up. First impressions:1. They are much more comfortable than three other similar pairs I tried from other sites/big box stores.2. I wear a nine. These fit like a glove. Perfect.3. The laces run down onto the toe box a bit, so you can tighten them as you wish.4. The toe box is large enough to use inserts for plantar fasciitis, etc... This is a big plus for me. The inserts actually improved the fit a bit.5. The leather parts look shineable. They'll look great with a decent polish.6. The zipper on the side is nice but unnecessary: I find it easier just use the laces when putting them on. The zippers on both boots were a little sticky from a drop of glue that had oozed onto them. No big deal, I just scraped the glue and dangling threads off and they worked fine. Not worth returning them over it.Overall, I really like these boots. He wears them for work everyday 8 hours on his feet so he puts them through alot, he wears them in the rain, snow, dirt, and mud and they hold up and last for a pretty good stretch of time. The quality seems to have improved over the last 2 years too, they are holding up better and longer even though he still puts them through the ringer everyday.
