The brown stuff on the bottom of the pan didn’t get mixed into the milk due to the plastic pads on the stirrer and the brown stuff scrubbed off easily as opposed to a few past scorches I’ve had while stirring myself. Ex: pasta sauces?** A: They're fairly sturdy. I think it all depends on how thick your sauce is. Used to stir the caramel manually, so I was happy to find a product that would do the tedious work for me. My arm is thankful for the rest and my skin is burn-free.
