I've used these boots for about a month and they are in pretty bad shape considering the time. The leather part that is against the back your heel is not reinforced at all and is very soft so it loses shape fast. Here is a picture of the left boot (on the left) compared to a over 10 years old (yes, TEN years old!!) other brand boot I have (on the right). The other brand heel part is almost rock solid, it has not lost the shape at all, the Grinders boot is so soft you can push the heel area in with your fingers - ridiculous, as this area is under heavy pressure when the boot is in use. The heel area started to lose shape after ONE WEEK of normal daily use (walking in the city, nothing heavy at all)The second image tries to show how the leather has already started to collapse inside and how sloppily the soles are attached to the boots. One minor negative thing is that the nails in the heels are not hammered deep enough into the rubber, so it's very easy to slip on stone floor, so to fix it you either risk hammering them through the sole or cover them with an extra rubber layer.Overall rather disappointing purchase. We have a saying up here where I live that "a poor man can't afford to buy cheap". I wish I had saved the money (bought them on discount at least) and bought something else. 2 stars because if you only use these boots say once a month, these will last you in top shape for maybe 2 years. If you want something that lasts long, go look somewhere else.Or maybe I just got a bad pair - who knows.. not going to buy another pair to find out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A little tight to get on *by A***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2019* Good quality boots and good looking only issue I have is that they are a little tight not to wear at all but to get on and off this can be remedied by wearing a slightly thinner pair of socks as the boots are more than comfortable enough to do this there was a mix up with the delivery which amazon dealt with very promptly very impressed will buy from grinders again as these are my second pair of boots from them ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent hard wearing boots for everyday wear *by D***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 March 2016* This is my second pair of Grinders boots and I am as pleased with these as I was with the first pair I purchased. Excellent quality all round. The leather is thick and stiff and the finishing is super. They feel sturdy and solid and will most likely last for many a year. The sizing is perfect - exactly right. Very comfortable to wear also, with no ill-effects so far from all day wear. Breaking them in was easy - just a couple of days. Probably one of the best pairs of boots I have ever bought.
