Review: A concise guide for word use and style - The New York Times Manual of Style and Usage, fifth edition (2015) is easy to use. Since I have not used earlier editions, I cannot compare/contrast with previous editions; this is my first use of this manual. However, I find the manual concise and informative. The manual may be short on examples, but that's not a criticism. The conciseness tells you what you need to know about correct word use as well as capitalization and abbreviations.

The New York Times Manual of Style and Usage, fifth edition (2015) is easy to use. Since I have not used earlier editions, I cannot compare/contrast with previous editions; this is my first use of this manual. However, I find the manual concise and informative.
