I was concerned that the little saucer would be too small for the tea coming out of the infuser once removed from the cup, but no, apparently it "drains" well enough before removing. I was also concerned that the whole may be too small, but no the tea is well infused in no time and there are no leaves floating out of it as with others I have tried. Plus it looks much cleaner and cute for the office desk.
