Yay! *by A***C on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2017* Worked exactly as the OEM described and appears to be permanent and waterproof over a, immersed 120 VAC electrical cord. As this splice sits on the edge of a bird bath in the water and attaches an extension cord to a bird bath deicer, and as the birds really appreciate not being electrocuted AND having water to drink, I think it's a good thing!
