They say they are "shot size" but those are usually 1.5-2 oz, while these are bigger -- they would be huge shots. But, they're also a bit small for a cup of coffee or tea. They are definitely cute, and would make a good gift set, but are a bit of an awkward size. And like other reviews mentioned, the 2 cups don't match - the slogan is split across both, so just keep that in mind. The material is nice, nostalgic for me. It turns out that there are two parts to the copy: "The Mountains are Calling" and "And I Must Go". The messaging is split across the two cups!
