It is a well made pump and quiet running. Water delivery is equal to my old pump, (also mfg. by F&W). My old pump was a 2 stage and this one is a single stage and works just as well. The flow control housing is made of plastic with brass inside. This a definite plus: (easier adjustment during setup). The pump comes with a very complete instruction booklet. You can easily change the voltage from 220 to 115 volts by removing 2 screws in the end cap. One word of caution! My pump came with a warning sticker on the end cap that said the pump was set up to run on 115 volts yet the sticker on the pump body said 220 volts. I removed the end cap and sure enough it was set for 220. I phoned Flint & Walling and they said that it was their fault. Someone goofed. In any case; if you purchase any dual voltage motor always check the wiring connections before starting it up or: you may let the "Magic smoke out of the motor" :) Review: Great pressure! Hope it lasts as long as the previous one! - I'm electronically challenged-BUT-I scanned the bar code from my previous pump (yep, kept the box)!! This one came up, looked the same. Lined up perfect! Works great! Great water pressure. Have some engine gel gasket material on hand-it does NOT come with a replacement gasket which you will need to replace it! If so, please let me know** A: I used it as a two pipe deep well application with the injector at the bottom of well, for single pipe, I believe you install the injector ( not included ) at the pump, this allows you to run just one pipe down the well. **Q: Is it capable at a depth of 100 feet ?** A: According to the manufacturer's website, this pump with a DW40E-1520 injector (sold seperately) would work.
