As soon as I opened the giant envelope and saw the quality, I knew I had found a deal of a llifetime. I immediately went on amazon and bought another 27 yards. About the color, the "gold" is less yellow in person and is more like vanilla...which makes it more versatile. The red looks much more like a fusia / hot pink and the green is true to the color pictured. It's a very substancial trim. My secret to decorating is I buy EFF silk drapes on sale on overstock.com and hot glue tassel trim to make them look like custom draperies. Normally I have to double up tassel trim to achieve a luxurious look. I won't have to do that with this trim...and the price...approx $1/yard??? <-Incredible! I also can't get over how much this trim looks like Scalamande's "Gina" tassel trim, which retails for $275.00 PER yard! This really is probably the best tassel trim deal on the entire world wide web.
