As a person of 5'2" height, most of my shoes will have some sort of heel or wedge to them to opt me in for a few extra inches and give me the great posture that flat alternatives won't. I especially like wearing these during travel as the idea of struggling with your shoes on and off is something I try to avoid at all costs at airports simply because you don't have the time nor the space to fiddle with all of that. I wear these everywhere and they're comfortable enough to do so, and fabulous with anything from jeans to skirts to dresses. As much as I wear them and for as long as I've had them, I can definitely testify for the strength of quality and durability implemented in these wedges; I've had plenty of wedges in the past that that couldn't be said for. These are 5 inch wedges that take me from a solid 5'2" to a solid 5'7", they are a very balanced kind of steep that isn't overwhelming on the foot but also allows you to effortlessly straighten up as you walk. I also like that the wedge below the heel has a slight slant and doesn't go straight down make the wedges look like a clumpy clog attached to my foot. The slant in the heel gives it a high end, polished look--shoe lovers know exactly what I mean in regards to a wedges having a slanted versus a straight wedge, it just gives your feet and legs a completely different look. For the prices, I would certainly buy again and in multiple colors but I'm hoping to see this same style wedge but with an ankle strap as well. If I completely wear out the pair that I have, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a duplicate! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cute little shoes for the price. *by A***L on Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2016* These are about what you'd expect for the price. The "cork" is a paper-thin cork applique over a fabric base. These are discount-store quality which is in line with the price. They're wider than I thought they'd be, and they're comfortable. I wish I'd not listened to the reviews that said to buy a half size up. I should have bought my normal size 8, but these will be ok. Cute little cheap shoes for casual wear with sundresses for errands to the supermarket and things like that.
