Device did not work and had no instructions. I thought it might be defective, but now I realize the batteries have to be put in a certain way. They alternate positive and negative, but also, once you have put them in the internal cartridge, you also have to put the internal cartridge inside in the correct fashion. I was putting it in so the faint arrow sign pointed down towards the positive. Even when I switched it around and put the cartridge in correctly, device did not immediately work. It turned on after several seconds. Even to this day, it still only works periodically. I informed the seller and was immediately refunded, no questions asked. Maybe if you try this device, you will be pleasantly surprised. It is metal and will last.
