I didn't need the LED indicator and didn't need the Tamper Resistant plug. They were bonuses for the price I guess. The Tamper Resistant plug is sometimes a little difficult to plug into depending on how sturdy the plug is that you are using. Maybe it will loosen after use. The switch, however is extremely high quality! It is the best feeling switch I have ever used. Has such a great solid feel seems like it will last forever. One downside is the additional size of the unit compared to a single pole light switch which I switched out for this unit. The wiring box got a bit crowded once I undid the neutral wire which has to connect to this unit.
