The first time, I researched how to properly apply toner and everything I found seemed to say that you have to work fast and not leave it on for too long, a bit of a challenge for me since I have so much hair, but I did as advised. It did a very good job of removing all brassiness from my DIY bleach job, but afterward, the tone was lighter than I expected. This second time around, after bleaching the new growth, I approached this toner as if it were haircolor and took my time working it through my hair, then left it on for about 40 minutes; also, I used the 20 volume developer I had on hand instead of trying to get the same brand as the toner. The results were even better; brassiness eliminated and I'm left with a shade that truly is a medium beige blonde. Every hair reacts differently to toners and dyes, but for me it worked out well to do it my way and leave it on longer than the recommended time. ### ⭐⭐ Not a good experience *by D***K on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2022* I gave this 1 star because the color was nice but that was all. I have used many different toners on my bleached hair and have never experienced breakage and fried hair. This was applied 2 weeks after my last root touch up. My head is a mess. I have a short pixi so not much I can do to it to hide the frizz. My hairdresser wonders if that bottle was bad. If it was how would I know?? How would she?? I do not abuse my hair.
