That is the most weight I've felt I had to lose in my adult life. While I've never had problems with sagging skin after weight loss before, since I had more to lose this time, I decided to be proactive and use a firming cream. (This would probably not have the same effect on you as it did on me if you had a much larger amount of weight to lose, so be forewarned.) I have had good luck with facial/neck firming creams since I started losing weight (both the Clinique and the Algenist ones) but I was looking for something to use around my stomach. This is the cream I chose.This is a thick cream and a little goes a long way. I like that it comes in a jar (and the jar is large) because I can get it all out that way (I hate cutting open tubes to remove lotion, or else turning pumps upside down). I am only using it on my stomach and a little around to the sides. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I have barely made a dent in the amount in the container. (Your mileage may vary. If you are using it on a larger area of the body, of course it won't last as long.)This is moisturizing and non-irritating (and I have been getting rashes from a lot of skincare products lately, but not this one, so that is important). It doesn't take much effort to rub it into the skin and it absorbs without leaving residue. It has a mild but pleasant scent that fades quickly (better than some of the French makeup and skincare products I've used lately, many of which seem to be heavily fragranced).Anyhow, while I don't feel an immediate firming effect upon application, I would say that I have noticed some improvement (above and beyond what a typical lotion would do) in the past month. Now, I have lost over an inch from around the widest part of my stomach in that time, as well as a pants size, so I think my skin elasticity has been improved since I am not seeing any sagging. Really the only thing I am doing differently in that specific area is using this product (twice a day).This cream is not going to be a panacea. The largest part of the improvement I have seen is from diligently counting calories and exercising a lot, and I know that. (And you are not going to make your stomach shrink by using this without changing your diet and exercising.)
