For that reason, I have been using nitrile gloves exclusively for years, in lieu of the less expensive latex gloves. Plus, nitrile gloves provide a better barrier between your skin and many chemicals, and are generally tougher that similar thickness latex gloves.I chose these Cool Blue Nitrile gloves by HQ-Products for several specifiv reasons. First, you simply cannot beat the pricing. You get two hundred gloves versus one hundred gloves with most brands. Secondly, the gloves appeared to meet my needs; high visibility color, right thickness, powder free and likely would have good dexterity. After ordering, I was impressed with the fast shipping, these gloves arrived just two business days after my order. Now, that's service!The gloves fit well, the large being just about the right size for my hands. I noted they are just a bit larger than some of the “store brand” gloves and that is a plus in that the better a glove fits the less chance for tearing. Dexterity is very good and allows easy pickup of small objects. I used several pair for minor cleaning of my vehicle with solvent based wax compounds to see how they held up to various chemical compounds, and they didn’t show the first sign of breakdown. Abrasion resistance was also good.My spouse grabbed a few pair for gardening and they passed the “gardening test”. That’s perhaps the toughest test of all for a nitrile all-purpose glove. When she is gardening and has her hands in the dirt, raking and planting, comes in and peels off the gloves and they are intact and so is her nail color, she is impressed.
