**Q: Why is no sound comming out when i blow? I am a true beginner with no instructions! Help😕**
A: You’ll need to adjust the read a bit so that it vibrates to make a sound. Also try moving your lips further in and further out. It just takes a bit of trial and error. I do think the Reed itself is not particularly good and you could probably do with getting a better and thinner one from your local music shop. It is hard to play, but you could get a nice sound with a bit of perseverance.

**Q: Is the fingering the same as a normal size saxophone**
A: No its not

**Q: Is this in key of c or Bb?**
A: It is in C

**Q: Does this take normal size alto reeds & mouthpiece**
A: I think it takes clarinet reeds.but don't bother with it it too complicated try the xaphoon it's much easier!

Well it arrived promptly, too quickly as I was out & I thought it would arrive the following day. I can understand why in a lot of reviews for this & similar pocket saxophones people say that they don’t work, the reeds supplied are far too hard for a beginner. I play the tenor sax & thought it would be fun to have one of these, but I found it impossible to blow - maybe I wasn’t used to the smaller mouthpiece, but I have played alto before. So I put in a softer reed & it blows OK - not easy mind, I think the mouthpiece is not that good. The sound is not really like a sax, far more like a soft clarinet, but now I can blow notes on the thing I think it will be fun. Nobody could complain about the price. So anyone who bought one of these & is struggling to make a note on it, I’d recommend getting Some 1.5 strength alto reeds (one can get three for just over £6 on Amazon). You should be able to get started with these.
