Have you ever thought how worn down the little rollers might get on the sole plate of your Dyson? I've had mine for years, and one of the rollers was flat and wouldn't spin. I spotted these and thought I would give them a try. Just pried the old flat roller out and popped in the new one. Thought about it, and replaced the other rollers while I was at it (after all, it was a complete set). Although they did not look bad like the first one I replaced, no doubt there was wear. If you experience a little resistance getting the new rollers to snap in, place the soleplate face down on a firm surface and apply a little pressure, and you'll feel the little click of the roller pin locking in place.
