**Q: What’s is a dc1.5v um-2 battery? do i buy d or c cell?**
A: "dc" stands for direct current, relating to a 12 volt battery supply, & has nothing to do with the cell spec for the required batteries. I would wait until the product arrives, then remove the battery panel, as it will be easy to determine what size batteries are required, which will be readily available if you live in the UK.
