We saw bands come and go over the years and watched how they wore too quickly and sometimes snapped violently. I gave these a shot out of the blue one day and compared to the rest I have tried over the years... the quality is real. These bands are holding up to an extensive daily abuse and I am going to be adding more of these to my gym. My only recommendation however is to buy two sets of these. You get what you see in the picture so if you intend to use these with barbell training to keep resistance even you will need two sets. My kids and I use them for pull up assist and a variety of other exercises. So far they have demonstrated excellent durability and they do exactly what they are advertised to do. I am considering getting a matching set for other bar type resistance exercises. They are comfortable as well, and there is no smell to them. Additionally, they are economical compared to competition. They add more resistance than you might think, i use them for weight training not for pull ups they are easy to attach to a bar. They have held up well and show no signs of wear other than than small scuffs i have put in them during use.
