Performance FLAX Evo 8" Single Voice Coil Subwoofer - Focal Car Audio P20FE The P 20 FE subwoofer is equipped with Focal's exclusive Flax cone which guarantees high rigidity and therefore bass reproduction with impact. Robust and reliable, its shaped rubber surround allows impressive articulation, synonymous with dense and deep low frequencies. The coil on glass fibre stand, meanwhile, reduces overheating to guarantee perfectly adapted ventilation. Finally, the 120mm “Dual Magnet” motor offers even more power (500 watts/250 watts RMS). P 20 FE is the ideal compromise for sealed-box (10 to 15L) or bass-reflex use (10 to 20L). Enclosure Type Subwoofer This sub is designed to be installed in an enclosure sealed or bass reflex enclosure will suffice. Open air installs can reduce power output. Bass Reproduction This Focal sub offers superb bass reproduction using high quality materials. When using the right enclosure and amp, you could be hitting sub 40Hz! Construction The P20/25 use a Patented Flax Cone technology which is far more dense than traditional paper/polyprop cones allowing the sub to endure more power. The 120 mm magnet keeps the sub flexing and pushing bass waves out to a higher standard. Power output This sub is build for a perfect balance of SPL and SQ.
