I then moved to downtown Seattle, one block off of Pike Place Market. Bad move. Between the bar that didn't close until 6 am, the drunks, the garbage trucks, the sirens from police/fire/ambulances, the motorcycles, the midnight skate boarder, etc., I got maybe three hours of sleep a night. And that wasn't a contiguous three hours, it was 15 minutes here, 10 minutes there. The only solutions were alcohol or sleeping pills. Both left me groggy in the morning and were not a good solution.I've since moved back to the burbs for a few years now but the sleep issue unexpectedly followed me. Fall asleep around 11 pm and wake up at 3. At least it was one continuous block of time. My body became accustomed to the sleeping pills and they were no longer effective. Nothing worked. Then I found this Tryptophan and all I can say is it is awesome, awesome, awesome! I'm getting at least eight hours of sleep a night and there is absolutely no grogginess when I wake up. I wake up alert and well rested. I was pleasantly suprised when I discovered the FDA came to their senses and allowed it to be sold again. I always had real good luck because this is really effective at helping me sleep. I have taken 2, 500mg caps every night now for 2 weeks. In all honesty, I can say that my sleep has been sounder and I wake up more refreshed than before I started taking this suppliment. Fowever I must warn you that it took about a week before I noticed a difference. You have to be consistent in taking this suppliment. You cannot take it one night and not take it the next two nights.
