Surprising
I choose this rating because it kept me hooked and asking more and more questions. I cant wait to see how this is all going to end. There were some weird moments (well weirder moments) that seemed a bit out of place. What I mean is that those moments were, "I know this is not a run of the mill story but why is happening? Couldn't something else have happened?" But the journey throughout the whole series has been fun. I'm very happy that I stumbled upon this while looking for "A Warden's Purpose."

Purrrrrrfect YA space adventure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Book 1:This is a fun feline space tale perfect for the typical YA reader. I seriously had my doubts that Mackay could write a clean, non-horror story, this is a pleasant surprise. Nothing too vulgar or disgusting to be found here, just an intriguing tale about a boy and his cat... and space.Book 2:Jelly certainly isn't an ordinary cat now! There is so much going on in this book and so many surprises. This part of the story delves deeper into sci-fi, setting us up for a fantastic, futuristic book three. These books are perfect for the YA reader who wants to explore something different. If there's one thing Andrew Mackay is a pro at, it's bringing something unique to each of his creations.Book 3:Things are getting more than a little crazy at this point in the story. So crazy that it's of like one of those dreams where you get all kinds of random things happening that make sense at the moment but are impossible to explain later, except that Mackay is able to lay it all out quite clearly. You have to have a pretty open mind and a sense of adventure to really appreciate the insane path this story is taking. I'm looking forward to the next book and how all of it ties back together again. You may never look at a house cat the same after this. Is your favorite feline plotting to take over the world?

So So
Started off well but quickly declined. Not a very well thought out plot!

A great first trilogy
I totally loved the first part, Star Cat. Jelly seems like a normal loveable kitty. I can sympathize with Jamie. It would be very difficult to part from your beloved pet. The second part, Pink Symphony was a bit more difficult to wrap my head around. I liked it, even the weirdness. And it was weird. The changes that Jelly went through, were hard on the poor kitty. But she was up for it. I was sorry that so many of the crew didn't make it. The last part, War Mage, was intense. All those shantas, and coming after them. After multiple problems, they finally are on the way back to earth. Jamie probably won't recognize Jelly. She has changed so much and is now 7' tall. And she has had three kittens. A gift from Pink Symphony. I loved the concept of Star Cat.

Hope.. a cat, friends..space
So sorry..I can't recommend this series.. goes ageI I grew up with Star Kat with Andre Norton!! No cussing, nor.. humiliating killing that the gaming generations detail in such ridiculous form!! The writer States he was a teacher !! Ugh!! Yeah, so was I!! And I DON'T care for the words, sounds effects, etc! Cat, droids, men...none seemingly " caring", except at ridiculously displaced times . Cat loved by boy. CONTEST. Space! People, conflict, droi

Really disappointed and disgusted
This was painful to read. I found it rambling with no cohesive plot. Also nothing "fantastic" ever happened, unlike the movie 2010. Also, the whole " war mage" idea fizzled and never delivered. Furthermore, the writer failed to do his research. Cats never "whine" or "flap their tails". There is a difference between ignorance and fantasy.

Loved it!
These three stories are great. First they learn of pink symphony and prove the only animal affected is cats. The space group holds trials to find the smartest and strongest to go into space to decode pink symphony. That's where we meet the cats Bisoubisou owned by Remy, Jelly Owned by Jamie, and SuzyQ 2 owned by Leesa. Bisoubisou wins the trials at first but passes on. They take Jelly in Bisousbisou's place. In book 2 They are in space and Jelly is doing great until they start to see she is changing. It starts out with her attitude, and continues with her growing in size. They could not save anyone on Alpha or Alpha itself. The people on Beta slowly find out that all but 2 of them are not people at all. They are third generation androids. In a way this was good because they run into some spider/crab like creatures that infect people. At the end of book 2, Jelly is more human like than a cat.In book 3 The 2 humans are killed and that leaves Jelly and 2 of the androids. Jelly must be protected because she was given some gift by pink symphony. They discover that the "gift" is that she is pregnant. After she has her 3 kittens(she is only half human and half cat). She evolves again and she is now part tiger, cat and human. She goes out on her own to fight a wolf like creature that is revered by about 100 normal wolves. She fights this giant wolf and becomes queen over the wolves and the last 2 androids. The androds do as she says so as not to upset her. They don't want to find themselves dead at her fangs and claws.I totally enjoyed these books! A fun absorbing read. You can really get into them.

Preparing for an alien battle
This is a space cat adventure that keeps getting better. With the crew in space getting prepared for aliens attacking and possible death they have to train Jelly to help fight. But she has a secret that she’s going to fight to keep alive and everyone know that a expectant mother bill fight with everything in them to protect their young! How will the battle happen and who will win? What will the next book bring? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Shockingly bad!
I'm not sure how the 'author' managed to get this junk published. It strongly needs editing and proofreading, but it's unlikely that more than a novella (and a bad one at that) rather than a disgustingly awful trilogy. Do not spend time or money on this!
