It wasn't immediately obvious (to me at least) that you that you tighten it by inserting the bar and then twisting the centre anti-clockwise, rather than trying to tighten each individual end. Once I got the hang of it, it worked fine and I'm pleased with the purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy pullup bar *by D***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 August 2018* This is the only pullup bar I've had and it does a great job! My door frames don't allow for the kind that hooks onto the frame so had to opt for the doorway kind. It can be used for a variety of excerices such as: pullups, inverted rows, incline pushups, attaching rings and resistant bands. It has little levers on each side to stop the bar from rotating, I've found I don't even need them. I've easily relied on the friction of the hexagonal surfaces of the telescopic bar to keep it sturdy. As long as you set it up in the direction that when you grip it, the bar can only rotate in the direction to make it even tighter to the door frame. I've found it can extend and retract to fit a variety of door frames so is great for travel. The foam padding along the whole bar is a nice touch. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Was good but broke after a few months of use *by M***1 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 May 2019* The bar was great, easy to use and convenient but adjusting the length of the bar became very difficult and infuriating. The bar on one side would loosen and slide inwards by an inch or would just complete stop moving preventing it to be adjusted. I've looked to see if I could get this returned or repaired but no options are available that I've seen.
